Job Role: (Brief description of the purpose of the job)
The product engineer will be primarily responsible for the sustaining various product family manufactured at Qingdao Plant. The role will involve working with Local and Global Engineering teams, Operations, and Plant quality, Outside vendors to ensure smooth sustenance of products. 

Job Responsibilities:
? To work with multi-functional and multi-cultural project team.
? Support New Product Safe launches, Cost Savings Projects via Value Engineering
? To evaluate Deviation requests and Tool transfer approvals.
? To create & edit drawings and specifications to facilitate manufacturing and new product extensions.
? To work with labs to ensure product testing wherever required.
? Take care of part material change assignments including polymers and metals.
? Work with FAI approvals, Process Capability Study, 8D report and 5 WHY analysis.
? Work with PLM, EC applications and Engg. Doc. management systems.
? To address product enquiries and product complaints arising on products handled.
? Act as Single Point contact between Plant and Local/Global Engineering team

Qualification & Experience:
? B.E / Masters in Mechanical/ Production/ Industrial Engg
? 5~8 years’ experience in related industries, Connector Experience is added advantage.

Skill Set:
? Strong English communication skills 
? Strong proven design/development skills (with interconnect experience preferred).
? Ability to challenge technical solutions and processes.
? Ability to work with multicultural engineering teams.
? Experience on Plastic and Sheet metal part design, Knowledge on resin and metal selection.
? Knowledge in Basic Quality techniques.
? Hands on experience with 3D & 2D CAD design (Pro-Engineer, AutoCAD).
? Microsoft Office applications.
? Experience working with formal Engg. Documentation procedures. 举报 分享
