? Overall responsible for the Source & Procure PL process from identifying suppliers for RFQ to supplier delivery to Åhléns/Axstores
? Responsible for secure best suitable supplier base within specified product / quality area
? Responsible for the supplier relation and supplier development within specified product / quality area
? Actively support Åhléns in developing lucrative products according to consumer need, support in striving for minimized total cost and achieving long-term profitable

Areas of responsibility

Overall areas of responsibility – general
? Responsible for delivering results in accordance with the position's objectives.
? Responsible for contributing content to the company's business plan for the function / business area based Åhlens overall strategy.
? Take responsibility for the competence necessary to achieve the goals set for the position.
? Information-/communication responsibility within the function / business area towards colleagues and the rest of the organization. This means that the active part of, evaluate, interpret and convey relevant information.
? Responsibility for the Code of Business Ethics is followed in daily work.
? Responsible for ensuring product quality and other aspects of sustainability within the area of responsibility.

Overall areas of responsibility – position specific

? Responsible for identifying suitable suppliers for RFQ, according to demands and guidelines form Sourcing kit and Product brief
? Responsible for preparing RFQ based on Product Specification and logistic & delivery demands from Business Areas / Supply Chain
? Responsible for handling RFQ towards suppliers and handling quotation samples for product evaluation
? Responsible for negotiation with suppliers and finalize buying terms according to product, price, logistic and delivery demands
? Responsible for sending Purchase Order to supplier and make sure order confirmation is received from supplier
? Overall responsible for handling whole sample process towards supplier and make sure product design and quality meet demands from Product Specification
? Responsible for approving production sample, bulk material, quality of counter sample, labels and packaging according to demands from Product specification
? Responsible for optimizing delivery and minimizing logistic cost together with Supply planner
? Responsible for monitor supplier production and ensure quality in deliveries from suppliers
? Responsible for monitor supplier orders and deliveries and ensure those are in time according to agreement
? Responsible for developing engaged suppliers and make sure the optimal supplier base for specific product / quality type
? Active involvement in product development process in order to enable assortment / products according assortment building guidelines and customer need
? Responsible for supporting Åhléns / Business areas / Categories assortment and product strategies regarding sourcing and supplier base
? Responsible for supplier negotiations and supplier relations
? Responsible for evaluating suppliers in quotation process with evaluation criteria and total cost perspective
? Together with Product Developer, decide what supplier to do business with


Process and system responsibility

? Responsible for contributing to the development and enforcement of the function / business area's processes and work from Åhléns other processes.

Other responsibility

? Ensure that information / communication between the post and external parties working well and helps to achieve goals.
? Responsible for contributing to a good and functional working environment.
