The Opportunity
Our leading Fund Management Institutions, KALTCHUGA (Equity funds) / LUPERCALE (Private Equity Fund), headquartered in Luxembourg (Europe) are looking for a Business Developer in China to enhance the private equity line of business in China.
The Responsibilities
Within this international Fund Management company environment:
1) Fund Raising in China
You will select Chinese Investors (Private equity funds, Corporate & wealthy individuals investors), organize road shows for the Fund Managers with potential investors, initiate business discussions with potential investors, make investment presentations and organize negotiations in order for them to co-invest in our Fund projects. An example of such PE investment proposal is the investment in the Lupercale/Itec PE Fund for the financing of Chinese wholesale platform in Europe.
2) China/Europe cross-border private equity investment funds initiation
You will select and formalize
· opportunities of partnership with Chinese financial institution (Bank, PE funds, ...),
· the set-up of cross-border investment funds (China/Europe).
For example such partnership could consist in implementation of Chinese / European Private Equity growth capital Fund dedicated to China-Europe cross-border investments, investing in companies looking to expand from Europe into China, or, from China into Europe.
3) Chinese partnership initiation
You will establish and maintain long-term partner relationships between Chinese corporate and institutional investment fund initiators (Banks, Asset Managers, Insurance companies, Sovereign funds, etc.) and our company.
4) Initiate partnership deals with Chinese enterprises for EU acquisitions
You will select Chinese enterprises and financial institutions and establish business discussions with them:
· re the set-up of Luxembourg dedicated investment funds,
· in order to help Chinese companies in their operations of acquisitions of companies in Europe,
· such Chinese companies being on the route to globalization and looking for distribution channels, global brands, technologies and know-how in Europe.
5) Discussion with EU enterprises for partnership and investments in China
You will participate in business meetings in China with European companies, seeking growth, production capacity in China as well as local presence and business expansion in the Chinese market via partnership or acquisition.
6) Organize public relation events and seminars on Asset Management
You will organize seminars and discussions with Chinese investors to help them in the diversification of their Asset Management in Europe.
The Competencies
? You have an academic degree in Finance or Engineering and/or banking education with 5 years + experience in the financial sector or corporate business development.
? You have an extensive Sales/Relationship management experience.
? You are highly client-friendly and service-oriented with excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
? You are mobile, able to work under pressure and highly motivated.
? You are an entrepreneurial thinker with an extraordinary sense of responsibility and integrity.
? You are fluent in English; any other languages (Russian) being an asset.
? You are skilled in Office suite for business presentation (Excel, Powerpoint, ...). You are a good communicator.
