Job Description:
The TSS Business Line Manager is responsible for growing TSS revenue attach to System x, Flex Systems, PureSystems, BladeCenter and RSS platforms, directly managing a department of Service professionals, guiding an extended international team, and maintaining positive productive relationships with TSS IOT Service delivery leads, STG Brand teams, and Development. This business line manager owns driving maintenance offerings, representing TSS at key IPD checkpoints, and serving as global champion for IOT TSS education and delivery execution needs.
Success is measured by resulting TSS platform revenue, improved product serviceability, warranty cost management, and STG Brand and IOT team inputs.
Responsibilities include: lead maintenance attach programs and offering definition; act as focal point for TSS and STG on global issues; synchronize TSS portfolio with the server portfolio to feature mutual growth areas; provide input and recommendations to global portfolio owners to create and or improve TSS offerings; collaborate with diverse functions and global teams such as IOT/IMT service delivery, sales, development, marketing, and finance in support of TSS overall objectives and priorities; drive joint action plans between TSS and brand teams in IOT/IMTs in support of growth initiatives; drive the overall MVS strategy and build and sustain brand relationships.
Required:
Bachelor's Degree;
Readiness to travel 10% travel annually;
English: Fluent.
Preferred:
At least 1 year experience in Lead Change;
At least 5 years experience in People Management;
At least 2 years experience in Lead Teams in a Matrixed Environment.

Successful candidate should be a proven professional with broad experience and leadership throughout TSS and STG. The candidate needs to have: demonstrated ability to organize and guide multiple teams concurrently; ability to lead in a matrix global organization; broad knowledge of server hardware as well as TSS offerings and deliverables. In addition, the candidate will need good executive communication skills and be competent in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
