职位描述：
Key responsibilities
? Preparing and able to fully clarify the details of development requests.
? Develop and maintain supplier base in order to be able to select designated fabric and trimming suppliers to be developed.
? Support Business Development to collect viable samples and cost information)
? Provide and support new technology and new quality creation for Designer options.
? Execute fabric and trimming development and provide solutions where necessary to achieve both quality compliance and milestone catching, taking the responsibility for achieving FRTP (Fabric Release To Production) and sample yardage ready on time.
? Support the Quality Engineers to track and check shipping samples before delivery as per the quality performance, work with supplier to improve the quality performance constantly if necessary.
? Support internal and external partners to solve the problem as challenges arise from the respect of engineering.
? Look for ways to improve the efficiency of development and production, in both time and cost respects.
? Support material bulk non-conformance solution.
? Develop and maintain high collaborative relationship with both internal and external partners.
? Assist the Buyer Manager Fabrics to set up goals, optimize and standardize the fabric development SOP. Support material quality standard and requirement set up.
? Perform duties as required by Dorel Juvenile China and in accordance with company policy, support growth and prosperity of the business according to the company needs

Job Requirement:
? Bachelor degree or above in Textile Engineering or related discipline;
? Minimum of 5-10 years working experience, in textile related field in a comparable Engineering job;
? Strong technical understanding of fabric construction, weaving, knitting, dying & printing, finishing;
? Excellent color perception and good understanding of color theory related to fabric;
? Infant, juvenile, toy related fabric experience is an advantage;
? Understanding of US and European Testing Standards desirable;
? Team player with experience with working in a matrix organization, fast paced in a multicultural environment;

? Good communication & influencing skills;
? Analytical and detailed oriented;
? Self-starter and able to work independently;
? Team player with experience with working in a matrix organization, fast paced in a multicultural environment;
