Core Accountabilities:
1. To manage the company’s employment conditions for Chinese employees, ensuring that contracts and HR policies take account of Clarks’ global policies on HR as well as complying with Chinese employment law
2. To manage the processes used to recruit new employees, terminate employment contracts and manage poor conduct or poor performance at work
3. Manage the Employment contract to make sure all employees have a valid employment contract and terminate contracts when people leave the company to ensure the validity of the contract.
4. Manage monthly payroll process – work with BDO to ensure all relevant elements relating to salaries – Social Insurance, Housing Fund, Individual Income Tax are calculated in line with the legal requirements and Clarks policy, payments are made on time.
5. Manage expats individual income tax in China
6. Manage the local employees Social Insurance and Housing Fund accounts, to open and close
the accounts when employees leave the company to ensure the validity of the accounts.
7. To support the process of company’s annual pay review process
8. To co-ordinate the preparation of employment cost for the budget making in Dongguan office
9. To support the process of developing training and career development plans for office staff and to facilitate training processes for the company – sourcing the training providers, set up and maintain employee’s training records.
10. Conduct HR orientation program for all new recruits and organise all paperwork to enable the new staff start smoothly in the new work environment.
11. To manage the personnel records of China Office staff
12. Working to established systems (currently SAP) and processes, administrate the employee
documentation and system data for all employee lifecycle events from new starters to leaver
processing. Maintain Employee files and data both in paper file and electronic documents.
13. Maintain organization charts to make sure the office structure is transparent.
Requirements
Essential Knowledge:
? University degree
? Professional qualification in HR management
? Relevant experience in Admin. and HR position
? Knowledge of China Labour Law, individual income tax law and relevant regulations
? Knowledge of HR management
? Knowledge of territory talent market trend
? Over 6 years of HR relevant experience
Technical Skills:
? Good communication skill
? Planning and analysis skill
? Ms office skill
? Able to communicate confidently with people at all levels flexibility and ability to adapt and respond quickly to various tasks and situations
? Strong writing ability and negotiation skill
? Decision making skill
? Strong influencing skills
Successful Experience:
? Extensive experience of managing recruitment, training and career development
? 6+ years experience working in general role which included recruiting, staffing, ER and or HR business partner in MNC, with Hands-on managerial experiences. Retail industry HR experience is necessary.
? Familiar with China labor law and local regulation of HR is must
? Sound experience of organising workloads, prioritising and multi tasking
? At least 2 years Team management experience
? Good interpersonal skills and a polite telephone manner
? Good in oral and written English
? Tact, diplomacy, sensitivity and good integrity required in dealing with sensitive issues
? Travel needed
