Position Summary:

Key Contact in the Region for Columbia Sportswear Company Quality Systems and Standards.

Primary Focus is to work on Continuous Improvement Model, encompassing Process & Product Reliability Engineering across the Organisation and Business partners.

Use senior level apparel Manufacturing and Quality Management experience to develop & deploy Quality Systems Program at a factory Level.

Responsibilities:

1. Drive Columbia Sportswear Company quality Systems Strategy development and participate in developing new policies and practices
2. Quality Process Management through Quality Systems Assessment and identifying Process Enhancers at Factories used by Columbia Sportswear Company , and collaborate valuations to rate Factories ability to produce consistent quality products.
3. Train functional teams on Continuous Improvement Model & Problem Solving Techniques and Create a Culture of Quality throughout supply in the region.
4. Study, Improve, Standardise & Implement CSC quality systems & Procedures consistently across region and Supply base.


Minimum Educational/ Certifications

1. University Degree preferred ( Course related to Textile, Apparel , or any Engineering discipline)

Experience Requirements:

1. Min 7 years industry experience in Apparel Manufacturing or Apparel Quality Management positions with 2years in middle management role.
2. A background/education in Quality Systems and Lean principles is a strong advantage.
3. Quality Systems Assessment & Audit skills .
4. Certification in Lean Management/ Quality Audit / Quality engineering & 6 sigma would be desirable.
5. Understanding of Apparel Manufacturing & Knowledge of apparel sourcing/ buying process.
6. Fluency in English/Mandarin & Strong Presentation Skills.
