? Installation & commissioning of network and server devices like routers, switches, firewalls, server hardware (e.g. Data storage, NAS, DHCP / DNS etc). 100 + server installation exp. is mandatory.
? 5 - 7 years experience in a large scale data center (500 / 1000 server+) with minimum of 2 years’ experience in a critical cage environment.
? Good knowledge of structured cabling systems, networking and connectivity standards, and hardware installation requirements.
? Basic server / network first time configuration, troubleshooting might be required as per client documentation to make the equipment online and to make it accessible for remote engineers.
? Racking, Stacking of new network & hardware server devices.
? Provide basic troubleshooting support for network & server hardware devices.
? Must be able to co-ordinate data center providers to meet business requirements and with strong communication skills in data center technical terms.
? Provide troubleshooting support for network & server hardware devices.
? Provide onsite support for IT infrastructure / facilities.
? Raise incidents or request CR in case required for data center maintenance & management
? Parts replacement & maintenance of server & network equipment hardware
? General monitoring of data center and report any incidents to stakeholders as required.
? To assist with other general data center duties as directed.
? Intermediate / expert level English & Chinese are mandatory to understand & communicate the requirement from remote peers.
