职位描述：
GENERAL SUMMARY
To provide material, compounding, processing support for PCR tire development including OE requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Coordinating research and develop experimental materials, new PCR rubber compound formulae, methods and/or processes that can improve the performance
2. Work with production plants to develop, specify and facilitate implementation of PCR rubber compounds to meet requirements of product performance
3. Participate, advise or lead as needed on PCR product development including OE, process improvement and problem solving teams that are by nature global and multi-disciplinary.
4. Initiate, analyze and summarize laboratory development studies on experimental materials and PCR rubber compound formulae. Document investigations and plant trials in the form of detailed technical reports, presentations and management updates.
5. Preparation of technical reports and presentation according to OEM requirements.
6. Participate department quality certification support, coordinate to TS16949 and OEM auditing.
7. Take responsibilities of maintenance PCR compounding and benchmark database.
8. Maintenance of IMDS and CAMDS system.
9. Coordinating of OEM regulation testing, e.g. ELV testing, GSO testing etc.
10. Coordinating with material lab and/or third parties to develop testing methods, and correlation study of between lab testing and field testing.
11. Continuous improvement : 6-Sigma, Kaizen activities
12. Responsible for technical paper survey and update
REQUIRED EDUCATION
1. University Degree (4-year) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, or related – required
2. General knowledge of raw materials, compounding and tire design.
3. General knowledge of material testing and tire testing.
4. Functional knowledge of PCR tire engineering and/or manufacturing processes
1. Multi-lingual: English & Mandarin with sound skills in reading, writing & speaking English
2. Good communication, technical documentation skills and presentation skills.
3. Proficiency with design of experiment methods with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
4. Pro-active, Driven, Adaptable, Positive attitude, Able to set goals
WORKING CONDITIONS
1. Work will be based out of the Asia Technical Center in Kunshan, China.
2. This work is performed in an office environment, but will require working in production, laboratory, and warehouse facilities.
