Main responsibilities:
？Carry out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults.
？Diagnose breakdown problems.
？Fundamental automation equipment development.
？Fit new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly.
？Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or components.
？Housekeeping of maintenance tools, stores and equipment.
？Monitor and control maintenance costs.
？Deal with emergency, unplanned problems and repairs.
？Improve Workplace Safety and Health procedure.
？Write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines.
？Ensure backup plan, in case of breakdowns to the machinery and equipment.
？Identify opportunities for improvement in equipment maintainability and reliability.
Main requirements:
？Business skills - maintenance engineers may be responsible for managing budgets.
？The capacity to understand a wide range of engineering functions and procedures.
？Team-working skills to work cooperatively and liaise with people at all levels.
？The ability to negotiate with, and persuade others.
？Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
？The confidence to respond positively when under pressure.
？Preferred, with automation or maintenance background.
