Main Purpose of the job:
As a member of the Program Core Team, the PQL represents the Customer Voice within the company and ensures the interface with the customer and internally with the others functions on quality matters.
Main missions:
1.Sets the initial Program Quality objectives (0 Km, Warranty and specific customer quality indicators), based on the key deliverables and ensure the realization.
2.Support the program manager to prepare gate reviews, dashboard, PLR and functional milestones
3.Assess the relevant risks and trigger alert to the appropriate management level if necessary.
4.Ensure the use of the appropriate methods and quality standards (QSE,PMS, specific customer program development system, international regulations, etc).
5.Leads the relation with Customer Program Quality
6.Has the authority to stop any process or product delivery in case of serious non-conformance (customer expectations or safety and regulations issues…)
7.Manages the quality objectives - including Safety & Regulation, Environmental – such as the PPM, scrap,… including perceived quality and cascade them to the internal and external suppliers.
8.Monitors the objectives achievement through a risk assessment follow up based on FMEA , KPC/KCC, capabilities, tolerance stacks, PPM, etc
9.Verifies the Design Validation Plan according to the program milestones
10.Checks the specification for measurements, checking and testing fixtures and gauges and ensure the integration into the calibration system.
11.Participates in the definition of the control plan for prototype-, pre series- and series phases.
12.Is responsible for conformity, perceived quality and traceability of any parts delivered to the customer all along the development phase until Gate4.
13.Supports the Customer Relationship Engineer for the preparation of the PPAP files and the submission of the initial samples, including process validation audit.
14.Actively contributes to continuous improvement process in program and capitalization
Qualifications:
1.Bachelor degree in engineering with a specialization in Quality
2.Minimum 3 years experience as an PQ in an industrial environment
3.Results oriented
4.Strong written and oral communications skills
5.Ability to work in a matrixed organisation
6.International mind set, overseas experience a plus
