Vice General Manager – Location Taicang, China
Key Tasks:
? Support the General Manager, overall responsibility for a German WFOE company with production in Taicang
? Support the functions production, customer service, sales & business development, logistics, finance & controlling, but the focus is to support and take care of the customers in China
? Develop and implement the growth strategy in China
? Insure the timely delivery of products in good quality and provide technical support to customers
? Identify new customers and sales opportunities in order to increase business growth
? Cooperate with other functional departments to improve overall company KPIs, such as new product development, price strategy, inventory, lead time
? Maintain and improve good relationship with key customers, and increase customer base
? Be able to guide and provide input for marketing activities
? Provide timely and accurate sales reporting and forecasts
Requirements
? Bachelor/Master degree in engineering, preferably in mechanical engineering, experience in cold massive forming will be a big plus
? Sound knowledge or experience in production and customer service, capable to provide technical supporting
? At least 3 years management experience in similar leading position in an international business environment, preferably for European companies
? Very good management skills to be able to manage a manufacturing organization
? Chinese language at mother tongue level, fluent in English spoken and written, German would be an advantage
? Team player, able to lead people of different strong characters and able to motivate them to achieve the common goal
? Self-motivated, strong communication and interpersonal skills
