Responsible for driving the implementation and reporting on the effectiveness of the Sales management operating model through oversight of business development process and strategy, identification and qualification of opportunities, the assignment of individuals to pursuit teams, broker debriefs, execution of business plans, and coordination of geographic and line of business sales efforts. Partner with local leadership and sales management leadership to build and develop local sales management organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
?Develops strong relationships with A&T, Capital Markets and other business line leaders and sales professionals to advance sales management principles.
?Adheres to APAC Sales Management Process and Operating Model (Appendix 1) and all other tools, processes available to enhance the Sales Management offering (e.g. Finishing First)
?Ensures internal company rules of engagement and processes are followed and relevant systems are fully utilized by auditing compliance and utilization. Works with management team and internal clients to address non-compliance and maximize utilization.
?Utilises CRM tools to manage metrics and reporting including local sales and market activity, pursuit lists, pipelines and follow up reporting, business plan uploads, and “significant opportunity” activity.
?Partners with peer group and leadership to assist in coordination of targeted client/sector pursuits strategies within region.
?Identifies, develops, shares and implements best practices related to Sales Management initiatives on technology and platform, business development and team collaborations.
?Work with Management team to develop business plans, drive market meetings, inbound and outbound referrals, pursuit and team formation
?Works with HR and leadership to implement best practices related to effective recruitment, selection, and development and performance management of local sales organization.
?Works with L&D to implement national training curriculum; partners with regional team to develop and implement local training curriculum.
?Helps to drive collaboration across the enterprise.
?Plans, conducts and coordinates team meetings reviewing strategy, direction and goal tracking.
?Set and implement strategies to maximise performance and monitor those strategies to ensure the achievement of individual and team budget.
?Serves as conduit for assisting local teams in identifying resources and information within a complex platform and highly matrixes work environment.
?Develops and maintains relationships with industry and trade associations, vendors and professional organizations.
?Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
?University education preferred. Minimum of five years of related experience managing the activities of a service organization.
?Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial property market.
?Demonstrated ability to manage people.
