Job Description:

Location: Tangxia(Dongguan City)-塘厦，东莞

The job will consist of search and development of suppliers in China mainly for electronic parts.

The job includes to locate suppliers with suitable components, production equipment and company structure. To discuss, interpret and explain company's needs and production methods. To negotiate and work out purchase agreements in order to ensure acceptable price and delivery conditions. It also includes to assure that the assigned suppliers maintain a level of quality consistent with the quality standards for the company.

The Sourcing Manager will work closely with the assigned suppliers in order to achieve correct quality and accuracy in lead times. Therefore a regular evaluation of supplier performances when it comes to quality, delivery time accuracy, lead times as well as price will be important.

Further responsibilities includes follow-up and managing supplier development activities, with regards to quality and delivery time accuracy, in cooperation with the company’s quality department and the supplier, monitor the production process to ensure that the components are in compliance with requirements, including hands-on inspections, coach suppliers in production methods and quality skills, follow-up corrective actions, etc.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree in electronics, engineering, or other related technical discipline.
2. Comprehensive working experience in sourcing role
3. Well documented experience and good skills in commercial evaluations and negotiations as well as in production planning and logistics.
4. Well familiar with and good knowledge about the Lean Production concept.
5. Good skills in communication, presentation, negotiation and cooperation.
6. Fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
7. We are looking for a self motivated, active and thorough colleague that works efficient both independently and in close cooperation with our overseas team.
8. The job will require travelling, mainly in the Guangdong area, but also to other locations in China as well as abroad.
9. With the PC as the main working tool, the candidate must possess computer skills, comfortably using the MS Office programs, such as Excel, as well as any typical ERP (enterprise resource planning) database system.
