Role accountabilities:
-Designs and implements solutions to deliver continuous improvement and issue resolution.
-Develops relationships and works closely with broader GC technical team, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory affairs & Government Affairs, Supply Chain, Finance to tightly align customer and Fonterra processes with technical activities.
-Be the key contact for technical issues, and where necessary, escalate an issue to the appropriate party/s.
-Lead day to day technical delivery of innovation projects.
-Review the Master Formula and the NIP with the Global Innovation team, to be able to create the Master Formula in the future.
-To lead the packaging innovation.
-To take initiative to drive the cost optimization.
-Study the consume insight, understand the consume needs, to identify the opportunities by collaboration with sales and marketing team.
-Ensure appropriate processes and checks are in place to enable product to arrive in-market, consumer ready.
-To provide the Technical Expertise to the Brands marketing and sales team.
-Provision of on-shelf quality audits of Fonterra product presentation versus competitors, and competitor intelligence.
-Responsibility for regulatory packaging and product support through the Nutrition Regulatory Manager.
Qualifications:
-Around 5 years proven technical experience gained in a food production environment.
-Proven Project Management experience.
-Ability to set clear goals and measures of success and track performance accordingly.
-Computer literate, highly numerate and analytical.
-Track record of delivering results.
-Excellent relationship and influencing skills.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
