* Recruitment, development, management and coaching of the Shanghai team.




Client Details

The client is a global leader in high-end furniture for retail supermarket and shopping mall. They were established 200 years ago in the Europe and now they have more than 20 plants and 50 branch offices in the world.


Description

* Safety - Ensure safe working environment for all people on site.

* Profit - Execute strategies to achieve growth in profit year on year and minimise start up losses.

* Quality- Ensure that all products made in our Beijing facility adhere to our highest quality standards.

* People - Recruit, develop, manage and coach the production team to achieve outstanding individual and team performance, leading to promotability (where appropriate).

* Quality- Achieve highest possible product quality, on all products, everyday.

* Service - Achieve highest possible schedule completion and lowest average delivery lead time.

* Production Cost - Achieve lowest labour cost and manufacturing overhead as a percentage of sales.

* Logistics- Manage on time and least cost logistics support for all customers of the Beijing facility.




Profile

* Bachelor degree or Master degree with specialization in operations management is preferred

* Significant knowledge in operations management

* Fluent in English and strong and effective communicator in writing and business presentations

* At least 10 years senior level experience in manufacturing operations in component industry, and experience with assembly, molding and stamping plant is preferred

* Ability to form initiatives and drive business results for manufacturing excellence

* The strategic and visionary leadership skills to maintain a long term focus and the tenacity to achieve results

* Demonstrated strategic planning skills and the capacity to provide manufacturing leadership to the region

* Strong financial acumen, ability to write capital requests and analyze operating reports to identify opportunities

* Able to summarize operating performance and future plans with executive teams and others
