Our Client is the leading developer of solutions that help engineers design and build the next generation of electronic products. We are now expanding our team at our global head quarter located in Shanghai and looking for an enthusiastic manager to join our people service team.

JOB TITLE: Talent Manager
LOCATION: Shanghai, China

This talent management team is targeting at establishing, implementing, and optimizing the talent management schemes, which will align the talent development with the organization business development, thus achieve the win-win between individuals and the company.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with line manager closely to analyze the structure of each department and identify the talent strength, weakness & gap within the current team.
  • Make a customized individual development plan and career path according to each individual's background, capability and potential. And this plan can be agreed upon and accepted by both line manager and individual employee.
  • Schedule & perform staff quarterly performance review with line managers, keeping track of each employee's development and performance record.
  • Develop the compensation & reward schemes of recognizing the good performance and contribution of employee to retain high-talented people.
  • Develop the improvement plan for employees with poor performance.
  • Give useful, constructive coaching and feedback to maximize employees' performance and making sure they are heading towards the right direction.
  • Understand the core competencies required and evaluate the skills needed in the organization. Understand the training needs, develop training plans and programs to meet the requirements of both individual & company.
  • Work with manager to identify employees with high leadership potential, and create opportunities for them to develop on the leadership track.
  • Demonstrate strong desire to nurture and develop junior staff.

Requirements

  • Advanced bilingual communication skills: Mandarin & English
  • Natural desire to nurture junior staff
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, relates well to all kinds of people, able to communicate at all levels of organization
  • Ability to identify people's strength, talents and potential
  • Capability to motivate people to improve, develop, and behave according to a performance-driven culture
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment.
  • Human Resource or Educational background preferred
  • Having the electronics engineering / computer science background with the understanding of software, hardware development, cloud computing, Internet of things will be a plus.
