This role includes the following responsibilities: financial manager and management accounting for a new plant in Jiangsu Province. The candidate will need to provide financial guidance and support regarding all finance related issues. The candidate will be a key member of the new plant management team.

Main responsibilities of the role include:
Manage new plant Finance staff and provide the company’s guidelines to its subordinates.
? Accounting
1. Ensure accounting is compliance with company GAAM, IFRS and PRC accounting GAAP
2. Be a super-user for SAP FI system; provide support to other SAP FI users.
3. Check/approve the transactions completed by GL accountants in all systems.
4. Review of all proposed accrued expense monthly and ensuring accurate accruing accounting.
5. Follows up IG reconciliation with other affiliates and other reconciliations from EG receivable/payable for supports AR, AP and GL accountants.
6. Monitor capital expenditures.
7. Follow up on monthly closing procedures and ensure sub-ledger are reconciled with GL and loaded into Osoft.
8. Review and approve bank reconciliation reports per each bank account.

? Taxation
1. Manage tax accounts & reports for all related taxes, such as CIT, WHT, VAT, etc...
2. To be the tax contact person for the local tax bureau and attend the working meeting held by tax bureau.

? Audit
1. To be a contact person for external (or internal) audit and explain any issues raised by auditors.
2. To be responsible for implementation the proper internal control mechanism in line with Corporate ICS guidelines and corporate policies.

? Treasury
1. Hedge FX exposure per corporate guidelines.
2. Prepare month cash flow forecast.

? Costing, Reporting, Budgeting, Support
1. Prepare IG price (for quotation purposes)
2. Prepare all reports including statutory financial statement and Corporate report.
3. Follow up on corporate budget guidelines and provide all required support to other cost centers from financial perspective
4. Provide ad-hoc financial support and analysis to the management team

? Other Responsibilities
1. To ensure the follow-up of all system and process decided at corporate level.
2. To manage all CAPEX per Corporate guideline/polices and Chinese rules, acts a role of chairman for LIC (local investment committee).
3. Ensure proper and cost effective financing strategy.

Previous Experience Required
1. Bachelor’s or higher degree
2. Startup experience from initial set up and beginning is preferred.
3. Tax knowledge is a must.
4. 6 - 10 year experience in a Finance leadership role within an industrial environment.
5. Excellent ability to partner with Management, strong business acumen, leadership and influencing ability.
6. Sound verbal and written English communication skills (Fluency)
7. Ability to interact with people at all organizational levels

Computer skills needed
1. Good understanding of SAP finance
2. Good understanding of SAP BW
3. Good understanding of MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
