General Description
Assist Operations Manager in leading and managing a team of operations clerks to ensure high quality service
Specific Accountabilities
· Monitor the junior & senior staffs and upgrade their efficiency.
· Full compliance to SOP & customers requirement.
· Maintain the service level and keep the operational mistake to minimum
· Daily contact with key customers
· Communicate and liaise with overseas offices/shippers for all daily bookings, and also ocean freight export matters
· Monitor and ensure all the jobs files are closed properly on time to meet the accounting cut off schedule for the departmental performance report.
· Properly handle the complaints with pro-active manner and escalate through the correct channel, if necessary.
Skills Required
· Strong PC skills, MS Excel, word etc.
· Good command of spoken/written English and Cantonese an advantage
· Hard working and ability to work under pressure, OT required
· Good phone manner, person to person relationship
Experience and Qualifications
· University degree or above.
· At least 2 years solid experience working in freight forwarder sea freight operation field
