Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Supplier Quality, this position will be responsible for the quality performances of Contract Manufacturer and component suppliers located across China/Asia
? Interface with Contract Manufacturers to monitor quality and reliability; Establish quality targets, drive continuous quality and reliability improvements at suppliers
? Be responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that quality standards are met for assigned contract manufacturing partners and portfolio of components
? Investigate failures and coordinate failure analysis, determining root causes, categorizing failures and driving corrective action through supply chain and design team
? Ensures that suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services by creating or modifying inspection instructions, coordinating the disposition of non-conforming material, and obtaining documented effective supplier corrective/preventative actions for non-conforming material
? Leads suppliers in improving corrective actions and part quality through the development and use of quality tools such as 8D process, cause and effect diagrams, FMEA, SPC, and DOE
? Provide consultation to the design, manufacturing and commodity teams in the selection, sourcing, qualification, and application of components and suppliers
? Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
? Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in high volume consumer electronics with min. 2 years of Quality/Reliability experience including fabrication and testing of PCBAs or FPCA processes
? Experience with statistical data analysis & reliability prediction tools
? Self-starting, strong technical aptitude, positive attitude, service-oriented, and excellent communication skills in English and Chinese (both written and verbal) are required
? This role will require approximately >30% travel
? Engineering degree required - prefer Masters’ Degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics or Material Science
