About the company:
This is a European company, specialists in rechargeable energy, integrator and assembler for batteries intended for industrial use.

Main responsibilities:
1. Ensure that the right product is developed and delivered to meet Company's standard & customer's requirement.
2. Lead the different engineering functions (electronic, mechanical, system).
3. Actively searches for best-in-class technologies among competitors and develops innovation roadmap.
4. Cooperates closely with project manager to assure customer focus and target costing; co-develops product roadmaps.
5. Supports R&D projects at group level participating in meetings and sharing technical information and "best-practices”.
6. Develops employees assigned to his department, ensuring the correct application of tools and policies on training, career path and evaluations and inputs.

Main requirements:
1. Fluent English speaking, reading and writing.
2. Bachelor degree or above in engineering.
3. At least 10 years working experience in system engineering. With 3 years’ experience in R&D management minimum.
4. Strong leadership and ownership is needed.
5. Analytical rigor and solid process management is needed.
6. A real market-orientation in defining the new projects to launch and a proven attitude in working strictly in relation with design, project management and sales is needed.
7. Out-of-the box thinking and encouragement of driving for creative, marketable solutions is highly appreciated.
