Requirements:

? Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or relevant field preferred but hands on practical experience also carries significance for this role
? 3-5 years’ experience in new product development/model making
? CAD/CAM programming experience
? Able to operate variety of proto type/production machinery from vacuum forming, to CNC machining - engineering, laser cutting, rapid prototyping, consumer product assembly, etc
? Able to read 3D and 2D design information
? Require demonstrated ability in mechanical part/assembly design
? Ability to work in team-based and multi-cultural environment
? Extremely strong analytical/logical problem solving skill
? Detail-minded and wiling to learn from new technology
? Passionate, adaptable, fast-response, comprehensive, self-motivated
? Ability to complete tasks under pressure and within a tight deadline
? Ability to create and review technical documentation
? Ability to master new skills in short time
? Enjoys technical challenge

JOB SUMMARY

The prototype-model maker role is key in developing concepts conceived within the design & product development department. The outcome of the prototypes has a strong influence on the continued products development and as such is seen as a critical role in the whole process.

Job Descriptions:

? Act as a proactive cross-functional teammate within teams & departments
? Act as a leading role of developer starting at the ID concept towards ramp phase
? Act as a key contact window with client ID/PD/Engineering
? Detail orientated
? Deliver up-to-date progress of development to PD Manager/EPM
? Stay informed of new development/process technologies that maybe used in the production of world class samples and prototypes 举报 分享
