Job Descriptions:
You will build and lead an IC design team in Shanghai designing products in our SSD controller product roadmap.
Job Responsibilities:
* Build an IC design team, of initially 6~8 engineers, in Shanghai for the Performance Storage group
* Manage the team to design and develop subsystem blocks up to entire device in SSD controller product roadmap
* Working with the technical leads, Provide technical guidance to the team
* Main interface to other functional groups such as architecture, FW/SW, verification/emulation, implementation, validation, marketing/applications
* Responsible for building a strong team culture, and growing the team to meet future product development requirements
Qualifications:
* Master's degree with 10+ years related experience
* Strong inter-personal skills
* Extensive working experiences with multi-national engineering groups, strong record of getting the job done
* Proven ability to learn and adapt to new methodologies and technologies
* Proficient in VHDL or Verilog/System Verilog
* Extensive knowledge of ASIC design processes (design, verification, implementation, layout) and flows
* Management and team building experiences are strongly preferred
* Working experiences with ARM processor and interconnect IPs will be an asset
* Protocol knowledge and experience in PCI-Express, DDR, or NAND flash will be an asset
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
