Description
Serving ZDL, this new position will play a key strategic role for ZDL in reaching China via connecting quality Chinese Christian content to end users. The Digital Media Director’s role is to utilize largely existing Chinese content, but deliver it to end users in mainland China via convenient and life transforming vehicles Though a significant amount of the work will be independently managed, the Digital Media Director is responsible for working with ZDL’s GM and Board of Directors in developing and implementing digital-facing products for ZDL.

? Participate as a member of the Global Executive Leadership Team in governance processes of the organization’s digital media strategy, including (but not limited to), ecommerce strategy refinement, application development direction, customer service analytics refinement and analytics, and social media strategies.

? Lead strategic technological by prioritizing digital initiatives and coordinating the evaluation, deployment, and management of current and future technologies.

? Develop and communicate business/technology alignment plans to executive team, partners, customers, and stakeholders

? Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analyses for digital spending and initiatives.

? Conduct research to remain up-to-date and knowledgeable in regards to industry trends and emerging technologies in anticipation of new business processes and capabilities.

? Analyze and improve upon technology standards across the organization to maintain a technological edge within each Global market served.

? Act as primary liaison for the company’s technology vision via regular written and in-person communications with GM and Board of Directors for ZDL

? Ensure continuous delivery of technical services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of systems, programs, and equipment performance.

? Where desired, develop licensing of intellectual property to protect ZDL’s digital translation assets for each geographical area.

Position Requirements
Education, Knowledge & Experience.

? 10 years progressive experience managing and/or directing technology related disciplines.

? 5 years work experience developing externally focused content delivery solutions in the digital media category.

? University degree in the field of computer science or comparable demonstrated experience
