Job Summary: This position is directly reporting to Director of Softline, respsonsible for sourcing specified products from development to production across different regions. The incumbent should well understand the needs of US customers and sourcing appropriate products to global market. Strengthen performance of vendors and manage a group of merchandising team in order to achieve the company’s objectives. All the merchandising activities are in compliance with company polices and systems. Candidate should proactively take corrective actions if any problems arise in procedure or process to assure the smooth operations. Job Requirements: -Higher Diploma or Degree holder in the disciplines of Fashion Merchandising, Clothing & Textiles or related disciplines -Minimum 10 years sourcing, merchandising and development experience of which at least 5 years is at managerial level gained from sizeable US buying office. Candidates possess solid relevant experience in European market is preferable. -Good team player and able to work with people from diversified cultures -If the job scope and responsibility reach at certain level, it will be the position of Senior Merchandise Manager -Frequent travel is required Preferred Skills: -Excellent command in written and spoken English with Mandarin -Effective management and problem solving with high level of flexibility -Strong negotiation, presentation and organizational skills
