职位要求:Lead and manage the Greater China insight team. Work collaboratively to build the brand and to ensure that it is operating within budget and revenue targets are reached, profits are maximized.
- Reports to: General Manager - Great China
- Critical relationships: Other Regional Research Directors, Senior Research Managers / Research Managers, QC Team, R&D Team, BD Team and Account Team.
- Direct Report: 20 subordinates such as Research Manager, Associate/Research Manager

Description
- Commercial
*Manages the Greater China team and projects in order to maximize revenue targets; directly manages the CN, HK, JP and KR (when applicable) teams to achieve this end
*Meets with Greater China clients of priority accounts together with sales team, Senior/Associate Research Manager and/or account ICs to craft appropriate listening frameworks and meet demands and/or address issues
*Presents top level research to clients (where possible or applicable)
*Develops/manages the development of new products and services (in collaboration with relevant stakeholders)
*Works with sales manager to improve and strengthen the relationship between sales and production
- Brand Building/Quality
*Ensures that the Greater China teams are producing the highest quality analysis and are delivering reports in a timely manner
*Works with sales team to develop report quality by encouraging the use of feedback mechanisms such as story conferences and feedback forms
*Ensures that constant review and feedback processes are being utilized between Greater China teams to sustain quality levels; ensure that feedbacks are auctioned upon (in collaboration with relevant stakeholders)
*Encourages and creates awareness of best practices to assist in report production
- Project and Resource Planning
*Manages Job Orders for the Greater China project ensuring that all approved requests are acted upon by Senior/Associate Research Managers; ensures promised turnaround times are met
*Manages the cost of projects by maximizing productivity, identifying key cost savings and improving efficiencies
*Works with the Senior/Associate Research Managers in the region to effectively plan resources for all deliverables
*Coordinates with sales team to be constantly updated of the projects in the pipeline
- Innovation
*Drives innovation and process improvements
*Coordinates and encourages Senior/Associate Research Managers to constantly find solutions, update technologies/tools (including charts) and/or better methodologies
- Leadership/Management
*Holds team members accountable with clear objectives, KPI's, policies and procedures.
*Drives high performance in the team through managing and coaching the team and providing quality feedback.
*Recruits and selects high performers, develops talent and then recognizes and rewards performance.
*Facilitates regular team meetings to discuss issues, shares knowledge and achievements, provides training and direction.
*Identifies training and development needs and provides the resources needed to develop team members or liaise with the pertinent team to meet this end.
- Ensures compliance with company's values, policies and standards, and ensures compliance with all local statutory requirements.
*Complies with all local legislative requirements.
*Adheres to company policies and procedures and the corporate Code of Conduct.
*Where appropriate keeps up to date with legislative requirements through membership of industry organizations.
*Ensures personal adherence to workplace health and safety requirements and either addresses or brings to management's attention when others are in breach of these requirements.
*Acts in an ethical way when dealing with company assets and other people.
Profile
- Industry experience: Social media experience and knowledge of the market, current issues. 9+ years analysis/research experience. Experience in managing analysts/researchers and/or projects for at least 5 years.
- Management skills: Demonstrated leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
- Communication skills:Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with cross-cultural teams and with external parties
- Technical Skills: Analytical ability with keen sense of what is insightful and actionable for clients; ability to transfer such skills to other team members; good business sense to help ensure that the project is operating within budget and revenue targets are met
- Personal qualities: Proven capability in hands-on problem solving, with the ability to generate ideas and solutions; self-motivated and results drive; excellent organizational and time management skills; attention to details and ability to work under pressure; easy to get along with, exhibiting meekness in dealing with other co-workers
- Language skills: English; proficiency in other local languages would be plus
- Education: Degree in Communications, Communications Research, Business or other related Social Sciences
