Position Summary :
Impacts the organization by serving as the back contact for a portfolio of Tier II or III accounts or may support a team or individual program manager on Tier 1 accounts in some cases. The work may be performed as part of an overall Program Management Support Representative team – which may include members outside area. Work may require interfacing directly with customers and UPS internal operations to create and implement necessary results and process improvements
Key Accountabilities:
The goals of a Program Management Support are :
- To ensure service reliability and execution, customer retention and growth, and a positive customer relationship with UPS.
- To serve the client through issue resolution and escalation when necessary, notification of events impacting the client, track and trace services, process improvement, service failure recovery management, updating customer files and profiles
- To provide customer training on UPS systems.
- To identify opportunities for account penetration.
- To prepare external and internal reports for customers and management team.
Problem solving occurs as a regular part of the job. Judgment and independent initiative is required to identify, adapt and apply approaches to solve problems. Training of others in core tasks may also be required.
To accomplish this, the individual must possess excellent customer service skills, supply chain operations knowledge, and expertise in UPS capabilities and the customer’s business. Work is generally performed with limited supervision.
Education/Work Experience
? Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred however, experience, knowledge and capability will be considered. Proficiency in English and mandarin required.
? Experience: Generally three or more years experience working in customer service. Candidates must demonstrate a history of providing exceptional service to customers. Candidates must also show ability to work effectively with team members in different locations and functions. A thorough understanding of UPS SCS operations, methods, and procedures is a strongly preferred. Experience in training others may be required
