Key roles and responsibilities:

 

1. To generate consulting and agency business in the leasing and sale of industrial and office properties on behalf of vendors/landlords, and to take responsibility for the profitability of the Department. In addition, assist the Director of Business Parks and Industrial Advisory Services to monitor the Department’s performance vis-a-vis the annual business plan, ensuring that profitability is in line with the business plan.

 

2. To service existing clients, nurture client relationships, and cultivate repeat business and referrals for the Company.

 

3. Carry out any other assignments as directed by the Executive Director, Industrial & Logistics Services – Greater China and CBRE Senior Management.

 

Essential Duties:

 

1.To generate business for Consulting services for Developers, Investors and Occupiers with an Industrial focus, you are required to:

 

2. Provide a high degree of servicing to corporate clients.

 

3. Make consistent efforts to keep abreast with developments in the Industrial market.

 

4. Constantly source for market leads and information, and generate creative solutions for vendors and landlords.

 

5. Build a track record for yourself and the Company as leading local market or cross-border players.

 

6. Business-generating activities include, but are not limited to: conceptualizing and making marketing pitches, canvassing through telephone and letters, investigative legwork, market research, developing business contacts, tapping media information and word of mouth, following up on telephone enquiries, cultivating client relationships, effective follow-up of client databases, and activities in advertising and public relations.

 

7. Service existing clients, nurture client relationships, and cultivate repeat business and referrals for the Company. You are expected to provide, among other things, proficient before and after-sale service, effective maintenance of client databases, and diligent follow-up of clients’ requirements in respect of renewals, relocation, expansion, etc.

 

8. Assist with the planning and implementation of the Department’s annual business plan.

 

9. Follow guidelines and carry out instructions from the Executive Director, Industrial & Logistics Services – Greater China and management, working as part of a cohesive team to identify business opportunities and meet the business targets set for the Department.

 

10. Assist in conceptualizing and organizing the Department’s marketing programmes and other activities in respect of client instructions. These activities include: leading or conducting marketing pitches and client presentations, public relations and advertising activities, and the production of marketing materials such as proposals, property particulars, computer presentations, press releases, brochures, and mailshots.

 

11. Assist with the setting up of filing and database systems for stock, occupancy and client profiles. Take charge of the management and maintenance of these databases and ensure that they are kept current.

 

12. Lead by example, not only the efficient performance of duties but also compliance to all Company policies, and instructions and standards of conduct.

 

13. Carry out any other assignments as directed by the Associate Director, Industrial & Logistics or management.


  

 

Requirements:

 

1. Relevant educational and professional qualification necessary for successful job performance.

2. Excellent understanding of and experience in real estate and leasing in the industrial/commercial field.

3. Proven sales experience with an ability to develop strong customer relationships.

4. Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin.

5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

6. Driven and hardworking with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
