Be responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals.
Tasks: Description:
Product Management
?Define the product strategy and roadmap for his/her product line(s)
?Monitor and manage the product line(s) performance - provide constructive ideas for continuous improvement
?Constantly identify business opportunities and growth potential areas
?Deliver Company Group central product marketing with prioritized features and corresponding justification
?Follow up running development projects
?Run field tests and pilot programs with early-stage products and samples
?Manage product price to identify optimized one, challenge sales
?Organize, prepare and manage efficient upcoming market launches
?Prepare training materials
?manage product documentation (translate, create when necessary, etc)
?Support sales team on a daily basis (e.g. supply chain, quality, change requests …)
?Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
?Be an expert with respect to the competition : collect competitor’s product information, analyze and make comparison as well as information update
?Collect up-to-date related international, national and local product or design norm
Technical Support
Joint-visit with sales or dealers to give them support
Support to marketing promotion activities (exhibition board, leaflet, website, published articles, marketing survey, video, demo project, seminar etc) with satisfied output evaluated by sales / marketing / others
Create sales tools (software, standard presentation materials, flash etc) on own initiative or introduced from outside and facilitate it
Be expert at system trouble shooting with abundant experience
Product Communication
Play a big role of technology master in marketing activities, national or local product standard/norm editing
Communicate with group product managers to keep updated to latest product knowledge
Internal product technology training & sharing
Attend professional seminar regularly
Publish articles in professional media when needed
Good relationship with relevant authority and industry experts (such as keep in close touch with test centre, HVAC designers etc)
Others
As an expert to build up good credit standing and provide effective and reliable support to internal and external customers
Any ad hoc jobs that may be required by reporting manager
Vocational training / work skills:
Above 5 years working experience as product manager in HVAC, heating appliance or related jobs
Bachelor degree of thermal engineering, HVAC or boiler industrial is preferred
Ability to communicate in English both in written and oral
Knowledge HVAC market welcome
Good self-starter and team player, be able to handle multi-task without closed supervision & with timeline in mind
High customer-oriented sense
Good communication skills
Demonstrate good summarising and analytical skills
Ability to use arguments and stand for his/her position
Character / personality
Honest, open-minded, industrious, detail-oriented
Creative, positive and active, good sense of supporting and internal service Act as a product leader and responsible within the company
Healthy and biz travel often should be acceptable
