Duties:
？Managing the Mechanical Design Department at GROB Dalian
？Engineering work on customer order projects for machining, automation and assembly machines
？Reviewing and modifying the process layout (selecting machine types, tools and clamping fixtures) for machining customer parts on machine tools and the associated automation processes
？Evaluating customer specifications for selecting approved components
？New design of assemblies, including clamping fixtures, grippers, automation system stoppers
？Design modification to automation system conveyors, rotary stations and linear gantries
？Monitoring of implemented designs in 3D CAD (Siemens NX) and the manufacturing drawings derived therefrom
？Intensive information exchange with GROB Mindelheim and on individual projects, also with the plants
in the USA and Brazil as and when required
？Management and further development of employees, primarily technicians and mechanical engineers
Requirements:
？Several years of experience in mechanical engineering
？Degree in mechanical engineering or qualification as a mechanical engineer
？Several years of practical experience in development or design-based roles
？Knowledge of spoken and written German or at least English
？Willingness to travel to customers in Asia and to Mindelheim, as well as to the plants in the USA and Brazil if required
