Job description
IBM SWG Rational team is seeking for a Senior/Advisory Sales Specialist base in Shenzhen. The person will be responsible for developing and closing business in ShenZhen,DongGuan,HaiNan exclude core account(HuaWei,ZTE,CMB,PINGAN,SDB)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be responsible for selling the IBM Rational solution within ShenZhen,DongGuan,HaiNan exclude core account(HuaWei,ZTE,CMB,PINGAN,SDB). Especially focus on E&E, Mobile Phone Design, Automotive and other main industry in GSZ.
- Manage opportunities within above territory and achieve targeted sales revenue and growth goals
- Work towards the long term goal of making accounts standardize on IBM Rational solutions.
- drive Rational transaction sales business in conjunction with IBM territory Client Sales and Software sales, solutions engineers and channel partners.
- Develop opportunities into working (real) funnel valued at 3-5 times expected revenue goals on an ongoing (quarterly/annual) basis.
- Map and maintain relationships at all levels within the coverage accounts - CxO, IT Managers, partners and other key decision makers and influencers.
- leverage existing relationships, coordinating and maximizing selling efficiencies by partnering with Rational partner.
- Implement sales strategy to drive revenue across Rational solution
- Be a primary driver for rational run-rate transactional business within the territory.
- Execute solution selling to existing customer base and new prospects.
- Provide forecasting and update account/opportunity detail in Siebel.
Required Skills
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Minimum 5-10 years IT industry background. Minimum 2-6 years of experience in software sales is preferred
-Familiar with software engineering, System engineering, PLM&ALM solution is preferred
- Experience in selling software/system engineering solutions or software solutions highly desirable.
- Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively present to both technical and executive audiences.
- Proven ability to build relationships and effectively sell to senior executives and CxOs
- Strong cold calling, prospecting, presentation, communication and writing skills
- Strong time management skills and results orientation
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- "Whatever it takes" attitude and desire to make an impact
- Strong sales lead experience, inside sales and field engineering.
- Ability to work as part of an extended team
- Ability to maintain high sales activity rates
- Significant track record of accomplishment selling in
- Background in exceeding a quota.
- Adept in managing many opportunities simultaneously.
- Ability to articulate complex technical ideas
- Skilled in thinking strategically and tactically.
