Based in Shanghai, China, the successful candidate will be a self-starter who likes to take responsibility and works best with little supervision. Likes to perform a variety of tasks and have the ability to handle multiple priorities and has previously performed in a similar position.

Duties

·Define new products reliability/environmental testing methodologies, design and implement plans, systems and tools.

·To assist engineers in developing safe and reliable IT product

·Carry out reliability assessments of products including: analysis of existing data, reliability prediction, fault tree analysis, FMEA, hazard analysis·Support R&D bug analysis/duplication.

·Evaluate second source key parts.

·Maintain 3rd part lab list and lead junior engineer to perform environmental testing.

·Ensure the quality of design products and minimize reliability defects escapes to customers.

·Ensure the validation task be finished timely by well scheduling the time frame, improving the test efficiency and automating the test execution.

·Must work closely and constantly communicate with various international teams, including development, QA, documentation, release management, marketing, tech support and customers.

Person Background

·Bachelor's degree or above in telecommunication, electronic engineering, computer science or related.

·Good oral and writing skills in English·6+ years experience in reliability testing or associated Quality Assurance.

·Strong skills in reliability test method following inclusive: Basic Safety Test; Power Cycling Test; Electrostatic Discharge (E.S.D.) Test; Temperature Profile & Margin Test; High Temperature Run-in Test; Cold Start Test; Acoustic Noise Test; Altitude test; Vibration Test & Shock Test; Drop Test; System Power Consumption Verification & dropout Test; Loaded Power Supply Test; Transient Voltage Test; Brownout Test; Power Line Variation Test; Operating Temperature & Humidity Stress Test; Hot Plugging Test; Simulation Life Test; MTBF Test; Altitude Test.

·Strong skills in making test tools for reliability test implementation.

·Familiar with test standards for environment, EMC, safety, vibration/shock, etc.

·Hands-on basic design knowledge of latest Intel, Serverworks, Nvidia & AMD Chipsets for AMD and Intel server platform.

·Hands-on basic design knowledge of latest peripheral chipsets for Gigabit Ethernet, Ultra SCSI 320, SAS/SATA, USB2.0, Ethernet, PCI express & PCI-x cards etc

·Working knowledge of the following OS, Windows net 64, NT, XP, Suse 32/64, Redhatand SUN Solaris

·Working knowledge of memory, graphic card, Networking, Ethernet, Hubs & Switches, LAN config, Server admin.
