Key Responsibilities:
-Manage Product Safety & Compliance in Product Operations Footwear organization:
-Support and contribute with Product Safety Task Force in developing Product Safety and Compliance policies and best practices for the Footwear group
-Manage and control implementation and roll out of the policies and best practices within Product Operations Footwear groups
-Support Product Operations Footwear organization on all related issues (system, policies, products, etc.)
Product Compliance Database:
-Manage Footwear supply chain within the database: T1 factories/manufacturers, T2 material suppliers and 3rd party labs through communications and trainings.
-Contribute and manage part of the development of new functionalities Support to Creation teams:
-Support day to day in providing directions and recommendations on Product Safety and Compliance
-Manage updates and training of the Footwear Product Safety Manual to all Business Units
-Identify “risk areas” for Footwear and develop specific approach to manage high risk business units.
Key Relationships:
-Footwear Quality team and Lab Managers in Asia
-T1 factory/manufacturers and T2 material supplier laboratory managers
-3rd party laboratories.
-Global Product Safety Task Force
-Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
-Office based computer systems
-Good English knowledge – written and spoken
-Chinese Mandarin fluent preferred
-Capacity to manage projects and workload independently
-Capacity to represent the organization towards external parties in an engaging way
Requisite Education and Experience/Minimum Qualifications:
-University or College degree
-2-3 years of experience in a technical capacity in the Footwear industry
