Job Summary:
The CNC Engineer plays a key role to ensuring tooling and fixture designs and CNC fabrication meet the product quality and functionality expectation and that they are executed to the correct specification and on time.
The qualified candidate should possess a sound tooling and fixture design background, detail orientated with good time management skills. Well versed in CAD/CAM and process and eye to evaluate designs.
The candidate should also have a responsible and responsive character to provide communication of engineering information, drawings, tool/components standard, manufacturing expectation, and tool qualification to all stakeholders - sub-contracted vendors, in-house tool shop, product development team and client ensuring Product success.

Job Descriptions:
？ As a proactive cross-functional teammate within teams & departments
？ As a leading role of evaluation ID designs suitability to make tools and fixtures and actual fabrication of tools, fixtures and die-cut tools
？ As a key contact window with client ID/PD/Engineering
？ Define and establish program engineering documents including:
？ CAD developer to establish product and tooling 2D/3D
？ Able to operate CNC machine to fabricate tools and fixtures.
？ Key contact window with client PD/designers
？ Deliver up-to-date progress of CAD/CAM development to NPI Manager/Engineer and PD/Engineer
？ Closely work with tooling and material vendors to ensure on-time deliverables conform to specification and up-to-date revision
？ Define and establish engineering documents including:
o 2D/3D in product, tooling and fixture
？ Accurate communication with sub-contracted tooling vendors or in-house tool shop to ensure on-time deliverables conform to specification and up-to-date revision
？ Conduct Tool Qualification as required

Job Requirements:
？ Bachelor’s Degree or Polytechnics Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, or Tooling Design
？ 3-5 years of experience working with 3D CAD UGNX or Solidworks fluency desirable and AutoCAD
？ Experience in statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, and geometric tolerance
？ Preferred: Automotive/Mechatronics/Consumer Electronics industry
？ Strong 3D skill in CAD/CAM able to operate CNC machines
？ Strong understanding of manufacturing process such as CNC machining, surface finishing, laser cutting, rapid prototyping
？ Demonstrated ability in plastic and mechanical part design
？ Ability to work in team-based and multi-cultural environment
？ Extremely strong analytical/logical problem solving skill
？ Detailed minded and wiling to learn from new technology
？ Passionate, adaptable, fast-response, comprehensive, self-motivated, independent, and responsible
？ Ability to complete tasks under pressure
？ Ability to create and review technical documentation
