BASIC PURPOSE:
Management of program and product development teams, as well as regular interaction with Amphenol's global sales and marketing organizations. Direct local sales force to key staragtic OEMs with in the Oil & Gas Market.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate would have a working knowledge of the Asian Oil & Gas Market as well as a basic understanding of inter-connects systems. Minimum educational requirements would include a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in an interconnect related field. Candidates could have employment history in Copper Crouse Hinds, Appleton Electric,Meltric,CEAG Division of Crouse Hinds are preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This business development manager's responsibility will be to facilitate Amphenol's pursuit of opportunities in the Singapore, and Chinese Markets and lead the development of Amphenol's products into the Indian and Vietnamese Oil & Gas Market.
The primary efforts would to identify and analyze the key strategic programs that Amphenol should pursue.
Spearhead the successful introduction of Amphenol global product offering into this market, as well as realization of products Amphenol may want to develop or acquire to support these targeted markets.
Marketing product management of products specifically related to this market segments may also be required, as well as program management of key projects.
The BDM will also be required to develop, maintain, and execute product development pipelines as required.
