职位描述：
Role Purpose:
Ensure Pure Source meets all of the requirements of measuring, monitoring, managing and reporting of environmental requirements for the compliant operation of the dairy farm, in line with the Environmental Impact Assessment and the company sustainability framework and indicator plan.


Role Accountabilities:
1. Policy and system implementation and monitoring
? Initate the Environmental Management policy and procedure implementation at the farm, and work closely with the farm management team (Managers and Supervisors) .
? Lead environmental assessments for the farm
? Faciliate monlthy Environment meetings, review department and farm performance and co-create solutions for the improvement of environmental metrics
2. Environment, energy and Green house gas emissions
? Deploy systems and processes to monitor the unorganised emission of waste gas, including H2S, HN3and odour
? Track green house gas emmissions, C02 and implement systems to reduce CO2
? Track energy consumed on the farm and implement systems to reduce it
3. Water Management and liquid waste management
? Ensure the waste water treatment system monitoring and reporting is accurate and in line with the EIA and defined discharge standards
? Engage with the waste water treatment team on a defined regular basis to ensure compliance with requirements
? Monitor water used throughout the farm, and implement systems to optimise and reduce water use
? Manage the collection, testing and reporting of waters across the farm
? Manage the collection, handling, storage and transport of human effluent
? Ensure human waste (slurry and water) that enters the waste water treatment facility is compliant with laws and company requirements
? Ensure that treated waste water that is re-used complies with statutory requirements and company requirements

4. Solid waste management
? Ensure all solid human waste (food, rubbish and other domestic waste) is stored, monitored and removed from the farm within agreed environmental frameworks and compliance with all laws and requirements
? Ensure the processes and systems are in place and implemented for collection, storage and removal of hazard and contaminated animal waste
? Develop and implement systems for the collection and management of rubbish that can be recycled, with the objective of reducing waste and increasing the percentage of waste that is recycled
? Oversee the on site processes and systems storage and removal of dead cows so as to manage all environmental items
? Oversee the implmentaion of the storage and removal of solid cow effluent from the farm to the customer ensuring complete compliance with all requirements

5. Soil management
? Manage the collection, testing and reporting of soli across the dairy farm
? Ensure any effluent use and spreading and all cropping activities that are conducted on the land area of the dairy farm comply with the EIA, laws and company requirements

Health & Safety Accountabilities – Individual Contributor
? The employee will identify and report all hazards and incidents.
? The employee will participate fully in the Health & Safety improvement process.
? The employee will co-operate fully in any injury management process to ensure full participation in the workforce after cleared fit for duties by a registered medical practitioner.

Food Safety and Quality Accountabilities– Individual Contributor
? The employee will be familiar with and comply with all aspects of JV’s food quality systems, policies and processes.
? The employee will identify and report all food safety and/or food quality hazards or breaches.
The employee will report any instance of suspected and/or confirmed contagious/infectious diseases, which has the potential to implicate food safety, including any instance of vomiting, diarrhoea, or blood borne infections. This includes, but is not limited to, any local regulatory requirements. 举报 分享
