Position Name: Manufacturing Technician
Report to: Manufacturing Manager
Work Location: NanCheng

Job Description:
1.Controlled directly by the Manufacturing Manager, to oversee designated production through the manufacturing process as necessary and to ensure that the quality and standards of construction are achieved and maintained to a high level, in accordance with defined standards, following the handover of PPT (Pre-Production Trial).
2.To participate with the PPT meetings as designated and take ownership following the handover of the order into production until completion and take responsibility for the quality and integrity of the manufacturing process.
3.To attend the Tear Down / Risk Analysis meetings and to ensure that any initiatives set out at that time are carried forward throughout production against the PPT and tear-down specifications and confirmation samples.
4.To audit factory processes against set parameters to ensure that the factory is fit for purpose, performing within the expectations of the company and that all testing, process control and quality assurance measures are in place, active, effective and measurable.
5.To report back daily upon your assignment, demonstrating that all systems are in place, aligned with KPI’s, active and efficient and that the factory systems / corrective action plans are actioned / resolved and that high quality production is manufactured.
6.To undertake any necessary AQL inspections on finished goods as designated.

Requirements:
1.At least 8 years’ proven experience in women’s dress / fashion shoe manufacture and quality assurance systems and practice.
2.Excellent understanding of women’s dress / fashion footwear production, technical construction, lasts and patterns, material and leather selection, sewing, lasting, finishing, technical elements of footwear fitting for comfort and quality.
3.Be able to demonstrate a high degree of awareness and experience in materials, quality standards / procedures and applications.
4.Must fully understand and demonstrate ability in AQL and in-line production control systems.
5.Able to demonstrate a high degree of knowledge in quality assurance systems and protocols and understand the use of metrics and KPI’s to enhance and increase quality within a manufacturer environment.
6.Must be able to travel and work under pressure for extended periods of time within China according to assigned projects.
7.Honesty and a high degree of moral judgment are both essential to this role.
8.Fluent in English including reading, writing and speaking skills;
9.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, detail oriented, problem solver/analytical.
10.Proficient in Word and Excel programs and applications.
