Role in the Team:

? The post holder will be responsible for the daily coordination of raw materials, sales forecasts, stock and capacity in order to produce a rolling two week production plan.
? The secondary function of the position will be to ensure labour capacity requirements are relayed to wider business and ad-hoc assistance to the wider planning team.
? Lead the planning team (PMC)
This position would be suitable for an experience planner from the lighting industry seeking their next position within an established an well-known brand.
Responsibilities, Duties and Task:

? Maintain and create a daily and weekly production plan to achieve 100% OTIF
? Daily monitoring and updating of stock levels
? Daily communication between departments to ensure awareness of Production requirements
? Reporting of any issues within the production plan including capacity, material availability, labour or scheduling issues to the supply chain team (purchasing, production, logistics)
? Ensure material availability for the production plan
Requirements, professional experiences for this position:

? Bachelor degree in production management, 5+ years experience
? Experience working within a fast moving (high volume high mix) consumer goods manufacturing environment (essential)
? Experience within a production planning position (essential)
? Strong system skills specifically ERP-MRP-PMC, SAP, Microsoft Excel (essential)
? Flexible approach to working hours (essential)
? Strong organizational and communication skills
? Experience working within a lighting manufacturing environment (desirable)
