Job Summary
This position will investigate a full range of matters to protect Apple's personnel, property, products and reputation, and to resolve security incidents. Such matters may include, but not will not be limited to, cyber crimes; complex frauds; cargo thefts; thefts of intellectual property; leaks; threats; and internal investigations. He or she will also be responsible for coordinating investigations with law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies, and conducting investigations from initial response through successful conclusion.
Key Qualifications
* Substantial experience conducting investigations into two or more of the following matters: product/IP theft; cyber crimes; complex frauds, cargo theft; internal investigations; and identity theft
* Proven experience using online and cyber investigative tools preferred
* Demonstrated success in initiating and conducting complex and sensitive investigations
* Experience conducting interviews
* Ability to collect evidence and an understanding of best evidence collection practices
* Experience and proven ability organizing and analyzing evidence and data
* Excellent writing skills
* Strong interpersonal skills required to establish and maintain positive relationships with other Apple employees throughout the world
* Understanding of the criminal justice system and proven ability to coordinate investigations with law enforcement/prosecutorial agencies practices
* Experience and proven ability organizing and analyzing evidence
* Basic understanding of information security standards and practices
* Basic knowledge of network architecture, network protocols, information technology and information security systems and solutions
Description
The successful candidate must possess strong analytical, writing and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to build effective, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside the company. Substantial investigative skills and work experience are required. When exigent circumstance so require, the candidate must be available to work on nights, weekends and holidays, and to handle on-call responsibilities.
This position will be based in Shenzhen, China and report to the Manager of Investigations.

5+ years of experience conducting corporate investigations
Education
B.A./B.S. or higher degree
