General Description
Assist the Senior Manager to manage the national distribution operation, in meeting customer expectation and performance service standards (KPI) through the enforcement of company policies and SOP.
Specific Accountabilities
? Lead a team of staff to manage daily operations and distribution system to ensure all operational targets and KPIs of the transportation are met
? Ensure all goods in the trucking projects are properly collected, received, handled, accurately sorted, identified, value-added, transferred and dispatched; goods / order information capture are fully performed accurately and timely as per agreed SOP and KPI
? Enforce security and work safety measures and controls in the carring and distribution network;
? Contribute to add value to all services in conjunction with directions, established performance standards, measurements in cost saving and cost effectiveness
? Constantly look for improvement opportunities along the value chain, to streamline and re-engine the processes to achieve or exceed the service standard or target
? Provide on-the-job training to individual staff to improve the staff performance and productivity
? Deploy and complete special assignments at the instructions of the Senior Manager
Skills Required & Experience and Qualifications
? College degree or equivalent, preferably in Logistics Management.
? Minimum 4 years’ experience in trucking operations with solid team leader experience is a plus
