Job Responsibilities
Scope：
To manage the day to day activities of Far East Factories and our offices in Shanghai and Hong Kong. Manage a team of people in both offices.
Daily communication with all our factories to ensure they are producing goods to meet our customer demands.
Communicate with factories and shipping agents to ensure on time despatches.
Manage the ETI and Technical compliance of all our Far East factories in conjunction with the Far East Compliance Manager.
Functional Duties：
? Be commercially aware at all times and make recommendation to reduce costs wherever they occur in the supply chain.
? Negotiate costs and trading terms with factories as directed by the Group Packaging Manager.
? Develop close relationships with all Far East Factories to ensure that they produce goods in accordance with the Butters Group purchase order and specifications ensuring on time despatches.
? In conjunction with the Group Packaging Manager develop a seamless system to control the transport and shipping of containers from the Far East to ensure that all despatches are on time
? Work closely with the Far East Compliance Manager and Group Technical Manager to ensure that all factories are working towards or have achieved ETI and Technical compliance.
? Working with the Group Packaging Manager and Group Development Manager to maintain and improve the quality of Hardware received on site.
? Together with the Group Technical Manager, Group Packaging Manager and Group Development Manager evaluate and advise on new sources of supply, product and potential new factories.
? Negotiate direct with factories any claims through to completion.


Job Qualification
1. 5+ years office Manager with experience in Gifting Consumable including Ceramics, Glassware, Baskets and novelties to add value to Horticultural products used within the UK retail sector.
2. Solid experience in Asian sourcing;
3. Solid knowledge of kitchenware and cleaning products.
4.High sense of responsibility, self-motivated;
5.Engaging & influential communication/negotiation skill;
6.Keen observation, analysis and coordination ability;
7.Honest and strictly complying with professional ethics;
8.Excellent team work and working well under pressure.
9.Familiar with MS-Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
