We are currently looking for an Assistant Project Manager to be part of our team in Singapore reporting to a Senior Project Manager or Associate Director. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual being able to work in a fast paced environment working for international clients. The assistant project manager must have 2-5 years experience in successfully delivering commercial office fit out and/or data centre projects in Singapore.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Assisting the Project Manager on a range of tasks, to include:
§ To support Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for effectively delivering a range of tasks to high quality standards.
§ Conducting background research, data collection and benchmarking
§ Establishing effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project
§ Producing project plans
§ Monitoring and documenting project progress and other performance indicators
§ Tracking and documenting changes
§ Preparing written project communication materials
§ Preparing formal project progress and other reports
§ Liaising with the client, contractors and designers
§ Attending meetings and drafting minutes, etc
Other responsibilities, to include:
§ Preparing presentation materials for client pitches, etc
§ Inputting key information into the Turner & Townsend internal database
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
An Assistant Project Manager will in part be assessed by the extent to which:
§ Tasks are completed to the right accuracy and quality standards
§ Tasks are completed efficiently and on time
§ Client needs are dealt with in a helpful and attentive way
§ The cross-functional team is supported in a helpful and positive manner
§ An effective contribution is made towards the overall project
§ Key information and data is effectively communicated and appropriately retained
Essential
§ Graduate calibre
§ Professionally qualified in one of the following fields: project management, construction, engineering, surveying, or architecture.
§ 2 to 5 years post graduate relevant project management experience.
§ A broad understanding of the characteristics of projects, over a significant portion of the project life cycle
§ Knowledge of all of the main project management concepts, tools and techniques
§ Experience of supporting project management commissions for small to medium sized general construction projects of low to medium complexity
§ Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as the different procurement routes, etc
§ Experience of managing the administrative aspects of a project
Desirable
§ Project management experience where leading small sized general construction projects of low complexity
§ Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment, to meet often tight deadlines, and to work pro-actively as part of a committed team
§ Demonstrated experience working for an international company and on projects for known international clients
