The Business Development Manager will work closely with the Inside Sales, Operations, and Product Line team.
Primary Job Responsibilities
? Communicate and work with the Area Sales organization to ensure that there is a clear understanding of the customer’s plans and activities
? Lead and assist in setting pricing strategies for the Region around the respective offering
? Participate in monthly Area meetings with the Area Sales Team and Area Operations Team to ensure clarity around goals, issues, and opportunities
? Manage and maintain integrity with the Area Sales budget
? Focus regular actions on special relationship initiatives that will take the relationship to the next level
? Utilize, build and maintain Call Plans, Account Summaries, Relationship Map, Solution Summaries, and other Sales Best Practices tools on the various strategic accounts within the area of responsibility
? Maintain consistent communication with the International Sales Manager concerning issue resolutions and current status of opportunities
? Manage the Accounts Receivable and Branch processes with the Area to ensure customer accountability and on-time payments
? Conduct quarterly reviews with the Area Sales Director to ensure strict focus on opportunities, issues, product development, action items, and personal development
Job Requirements
? Broad technical knowledge regarding valves, pipes, fittings and service offerings
? Solid understanding of the drilling and oil & gas production business
? Experience working in multi-cultural teams
? At least 5 years working experience as production sales for pipes, valves and fittings
? Strong local network in oil and gas industry
