职位描述：
BASIC FUNCTION

This position will be responsible for all aspects of 10,000 m2 warehouse planning and control, distribution and international transportation/customs clearance for a medium size plant/facility.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Administer direct supervisory responsibilities for logistics personnel including selection, hiring, training, performance evaluations, promotional recommendations and work scheduling.

2. Assure high level of data and transactional integrity in the SAP system in order to achieve high levels of inventory accuracy.

3. Assure near perfect levels of customer service.

4. Managing international transportation and ensure on time custom clearance.

5. Minimize freight and premium freight services through the proper planning processes.

6. Implement lean manufacturing techniques as related to material handling and control.

7. Coordinate product changes and inventory levels to assure minimal obsolescence.

8. Analyze and present customer driven trends and projections in order to properly manage plant capacity and manning.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in a scientific field

Experience: At least Five years related experience
Experience in high volume OEM environment
Knowledge of lean manufacturing/Toyota Production System
Background in a team-oriented, high involvement facility desired
