BASIC FUNCTION

This leadership position is responsible for the production management of the Lifestyle Division Products at Dandong operation. This shall include: planning, administration, Just-In-Time production leadership and lean manufacturing. Strong communication skills and the demonstrated ability to train personnel for continuous improvement at all levels are required. This position will be the champion for employee involvement for continuous improvement on the shop floor.

As the plant grows and expands, the candidate for this position should possess the capabilities to act as a business manager for a section of the plant. This encompasses the ability to lead and coordinate other functions such as process, quality, and materials departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

1. Develops annual budget and operational plans, meeting overall corporate financial and operational goals.
2. Coordinates line scheduling, short / long term capacity and manpower planning to align for volume ramp up and adjustment to achieve maximum productivity.
3. Manages daily production activities to deliver required production loading and targets at world class quality levels.
4. Leads a world-class lean manufacturing facility to yield high productivity with high product quality and customer delivery performance.
5. Manages, and maintains high process yields and deliver low production scrap / waste.
6. Participates to implement and maintain ISO/TS16949 quality system.
7. Participates to evaluate and implement new product / process development.
8. Manages and leads production activities / process control to ensure compliance of process & product specification and quality procedures.
9. Cross functionally develop and participate in contingency planning for catastrophic failures to ensure uninterrupted product flow to customer.
10. Develop and train subordinates to implement strong production line management skills with strong quality concept.
11. Establishes and maintains a high level communication and coordination with peers, subordinates, supervisor etc. Sets the shop floor standard for effective communication and conflict resolution to achieve coordinated plant objectives.
12. Develop departmental goals and objectives to reflect overall organizational plans. Communicates them effectively to subordinates and utilizes them to motivate employee performance and encourage strong participation.
13. Performs any other duties as assigned by his supervisor to support the operations.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor degree in Manufacturing / Industrial / Electronic Engineering or Equivalent.

Experience: Ten years or more related experience in electronic manufacturing.
Have strong experience in deploying production management skills with proven results.
Having some hands on experience on SAP-ERP system preferred.
Be a strong and excellent communicator.
Excellent team builder and team player.
Good experience in ISO/TS16949 quality system.
Proficient in English and Mandarin. .

Certifications: PMP/LEAN certificate would be preferred
