Position/Job Description:

This position is one tooling engineer to support Husqvarna Division who buy tooling from China, who is located in Asia purchasing organization and the position reports to the Indirect Commodity Manager Asia. The objective is to support different regions to buy tooling from China, mainly for plastic molds, also include stamping and die-casting molds.
He or she will play bridge roles between regional requests and tool makers in China, also support the communication and monitor tool project making progress. And to reduce the quantity of global travelling in China and to have Husqvarna’s eyes onsite to verify the suppliers if they compliance with our specification and committed schedule.
Furthermore, the person needs to continue to develop competitive suppliers in China as our strategy low cost sources
The main responsibilities of the role include:
? RFQ support
? Supplier development
? Price negotiation
? Design review check
? Progress monitor/Sampling
? Tool approval before leaving China
? Support LCC quality issues

Preferred qualifications:
？ The qualified candidate shall have Bachelor degree level in Mechanical engineering or Materials science. Minimum 5 years MNC work experience.
？ Project management experience from similar position.
？ Tool design approval experiences
？ Attend sampling at tool makers alone
？ Good communication skills in English, both written & spoken are essential. Japanese language is a plus.
？ Integrity, open and up forward personalities
？ Logic thinking style and able to overcome the different challenges

？ The successful candidate must be self-motivated, able to handle assigned work and get it done timely under the quality.
？ Willing to deal with different challenges with detail oriented spirits
？ Able to do the tool design approval
？ Able to attend the sampling alone.
？ Should possess good communication skills and be capable of dealing with internal & external contacts to support sourcing work completion within expectations
？ Analytical, structured, accurate capabilities
