职位描述：
Name of function:Cable designer, MC Changzhou factory

Scope and objectives of the function (short description):
- To propose cable designs that fulfill customer expectations regarding specifications,cost efficiency,added value and safety
- To review and approve drawings within the scope of Design Guidelines according to authorization.
- To calculate design and cost price for the design using Tempus 2000 Calculations.
- To participate in development projects for new materials and cable designs
- To be a part of the Habia design team and be prepared to travel to Europe for training

Main responsibilities & tasks:
- Issue drawings,work descriptions and calculations that fulfill the requirements in enquiries and specifications
- A prototyhpe cable or a test urn shall be recommended for new designs if it is doubtful if the requirements can be fulfilled or to secure that it can be produced
- If necessary remittance shall be sent to applicable departments for example quality requirements to QA
- If any requirement is unclear the designer is obligated to contact responsible at sales for clarification with the customer
- Valid laws and regulations shall be taken into consideration
- Documentation regarding enquiries shall be registered in PDM. The documentation shall include all enquiry information,requjirements and design records of the product
- Support sales in technical issues
- Maintain knowledge and information in given expert area

Authorities:
- Designers have the authority to approve designs and drawings within Design Guidelines according to the separate instructions(approved designer work description etd.)
- Designes outside the guidelines, including unknown material or techniques shall be forwarded to Strategic Designers

Requirement for the position
- Formal education
- University degeree in engineering(polymers or electrical perrferred)or equivalent work experience in these fields
- Minimum three years experience in design
- Good knowledge of material
- Good knowledge now to use calculation formulas for electrical and physical cabble characteristics
- Good knowledge in production economics
- Basic knowledge in Production Technique
- Speak English fluently
- Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word
- Good knowledge of One space Designer drafting(CAD) 举报 分享
