New Supplier Identification and Evaluation

Support the search and identification of potential suppliers fulfilling the commodity strategy

Organize verification / new supplier visits with Commodities

Conduct Process Audits / technical reviews for suppliers identified by the LEONI Commodities

Conduct / coordinate quality planning activities at local suppliers

Review the specifications and requirements and subsequent feasibility / manufacturability based on part complexity, supplier experience with similar parts, quality history at supplier, his process capability and process technology base.

Identify together with Engineering and the supplier, weaknesses in the assumptions, chosen methods and solutions to problems

Conduct quality meeting with suppliers covering the manufacturing process and control methods - "technical meeting"

Support the Supplier with DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans

Support the definition of inspection and test instructions together with the supplier

Confirmation of approval scope with suppliers (durability, assembly and functional testing, strength testing etc) after consultation with Engineering

Support the corrective and preventive actions resulting within the launch and ramp-up project phase.

Conduct or organize process releases on behalf of the Project teams.

Supplier Improvement in Series

Conduct visits and audits on behalf of LEONI Production sites in Europe /NA.

Track and follow-up improvements

Maintain communication between Europe / NA and the Supplier.

Finish other temporarily tasks arranged by the manager.

APQP training, European company.

Have quality management knowledge, familiar with quality system certification and quality management criterion.

Familiar with quality management method and the requirement of the quality management system

Experienced with Supplier.

Electrical industrial experience preferred.
