Overview of Position:
This position will report to ASSC Controller and provide support for all plant accounting and financial reporting aspects of the local operations. This role will be applying accounting principles to analyze performance in financial efficiency, reporting accuracy, variances, profitability studies, and process improvements which adhere to financial policies and compliance with all federal and state laws.

Primary Responsibilities:
? Coordinate the tracking and reporting of all capital and expense spending related to the entity.
? Perform in a timely manner monthly close and forecast process for the site which include reviewing cost center spending trend and resolve accounting discrepancies, ensure accurate collection of cost, and timely completion of all closing steps, provide explanations for deviations from expectations and/or targets.
? Assist leadership in assessing and prioritizing capital investment needs by performing thorough and accurate analysis of CAR’s.
? Manage budget preparations and forecasting, and related development of standard costs.
? Ensure accuracy of cash forecast
? Ensure plant processes are compliant with GAAP, SOX, and corporate policies by evaluating controls for effectiveness, coordinate completion of all SOX testing requirements, and participate in financial audits
? Make sure local statuary and tax matters well managed
 
Required Skills or Abilities:
? 5-10 years previous finance and accounting experience as finance controller
? Financial modeling skills, proficiency in MS Applications, and SAP.
? Excellent problem solving abilities as well as strong people skills and facilitation abilities.
? Detail-oriented with excellent planning and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to consistently deliver results.
? The ability to initiate and handle a variety of projects or commitments simultaneously and keep track of important details and follow up on delegated assignments.
? The ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines.
? Excellent oral and written communication skills.
