Job Introduction:
Design of new and modification of existing tools / dies / fixtures and manufacturing process. Utilize 3D software for Creation and modification of 3D models and 2D Drawings. Responsible to ensure tools and dies along with its engineering data meets specifications prior creation of physical tool and die prototypes and spares.
Major Responsibilities:
? Create sectional 3D and 2D layouts of conceptual tooling design.
? Responsible for documentation of detailed design prototype, production components, bill of material and performance specification of individual tooling components.
? Appropriate application of CAD methodology, thorough knowledge of mechanical drawing standard including GD&T standard and process capable tolerancing techniques.
? Interact with technicians / supervisor / managers on both shop floor and office.
? Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related of established quality management system (TS 16949).
? Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
? Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge and Education:
? Mechanical / Manufacturing student in his/her 3rd year or above.
? High level of analytical ability, understand of engineering theory and principles of design.
? Experienced and proficient in the use if industry standard design software (Solidworks, AutoCad Mechanical, & etc.).
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as teamwork skills in both Chinese and English environment.
? Willing to accept critique and learn with open minded.
Work Environment:
? Office Environment ; 30~40% shop floor
? While working in this environment, the employee will be exposed to from time to time machinery, moving equipment and material, moderate noise, airborne particles, fumes and various levels of temperature created by the manufacturing process.
